What to Look Forward to at Ridgeview Hope
Ridgeview Hope Church
Who We Are
Ridgeview Hope Church is part of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), an association of autonomous churches centered around the EFCA Doctrinal Statement.
Find more information about the EFCA at efca.org, or check out our local EFCA West District here.
Service Time and Location
We meet on Sundays at 10 am at 5901 Coronado Lane in Pleasanton, CA 94588.
Preaching
Our typical preaching style is a consecutive exegetical (meaning, verse-by-verse) study through a book or section of Scripture. We are currently in a series on the New Testament book of Mark, which you can watch on our sermons page.
Music
We typically play various modern music you would find on a Christian radio station, along with hymns in a more contemporary style (vocals accompanied by guitar, piano & drums). We strive for excellent music, but we believe that what we sing is more important than how perfectly we sing it. Our focus must always remain on the One we worship, not the team leading the music. For an idea of the songs we use in our congregational worship, you can look at our music page to see some playlists.

How to Dress
Come as you are! Our church family comprises a range of those who chose to come in slacks and button-up shirts to those who chose to be a bit more casual and come in jeans and t-shirts. Whether you feel you can honor Christ in suits or shorts, we are happy to have you. We welcome you to pursue God and worship him along with us on Sunday mornings!
